Boursa Kuwait indicated in an official announcement on its website that trading in the shares of Tamkeen Holding Company will be suspended based on a decision from the Board of Commissioners of the Capital Markets Authority.
Tamkeen was one of 9 companies under threat to have its shares being suspended from trading due to its non-payment of subscription fees.
On the 18th of February 2021, Tamkeen announced its financial results for Q1, Q2, Q3 and Q4 for the financial year of 2020. Despite this, Boursa Kuwait decided to suspend trading in Tamkeen's shares due to it accumulating losses that reached 169%.
In mid-December 2020, CMA announced the cancellation of the listing of “Tamkeen” shares from Boursa Kuwait. The company was given 3 months to take the necessary action to resolve the issues highlighted by the Board of Commissioners.
