Kuwait Bahrain International Exchange Company, a public shareholding company, was established on April 2, 1980, under the founding contract and the registered bylaws documented as number 2630, Volume 1, with subsequent amendments, the latest being documented under number 791 on October 26, 2014. The company was listed under commercial registry number 29513. On June 19, 2006, the company was listed on the Kuwait Stock Exchange, but it withdrew from the exchange on September 27, 2020.
