- Manufacture, produce, import and maintain various types of pipes, transport, extension, installation, engineering and oil services, contracting, supplying, installing and maintaining all necessary connections and supports.

- Construction of oil collection centers, oil tanks, loading platforms, boilers, heat exchangers, well head assembly, high pressure valves, natural gas pipeline connections and lining and all necessary insulation materials.

- Maintenance of oil sector units in all operational stages of refineries, distillation units, air compressors, pumps, electric power stations and carry out all projects related to the company's objectives.

- Own patents related to pipes, act as agents for their producers and trade in them.

- Establishment of industrial facilities and the acquisition and disposal of the necessary movable and immovable assets required to achieve those purposes.

- Carry out business related to the abovementioned objectives, arising from them or needed to achieve them, and various types of business in general.

- Provide technical advisory services and other consultations related to pipes, engineering and oil services as well as obtaining concessions or agencies agreements related to the Company’s objectives.

- The Company may carry out its objectives in Kuwait and abroad. It may also invest its money in investment portfolios in Kuwait and abroad.

Kuwait Pipe Industries and Oil Services Company (KPIOS), a Kuwait Closed Shareholding Company, was founded as Kuwait Metal Pipe Industries (KMPI), in 1966.  In 1968 the company started its commercial production. In 1998, the Company’s name changes to Kuwait Pipe Industries and Oil Services Company as a strategic move towards expansion and diversification.  The Company was listed on the Kuwait Stock Exchange on 29 September 1984 and was delisted on 7 August 2014. KPIOS’ capital is KWD 22,533,105 divided into 225,331,050 shares at 100 fils per share. The Company’s authorized and paid-up capital was increased from KWD 22,533,105 to KWD 112,665,105 (up by KWD 90.132 million) divided into 901.32 million shares, which was allocated to the Company's creditors by transferring their debts into shares in the Company's capital. The Company’s current shareholders waived their right to subscribed to that capital increase.
